Kitulo is the first National Park in Africa to protect plants rather than animals

Famously known as the 'Garden of God’ and the 'Serengeti of Flowers', Kitulo is the first National Park in Africa to have been created to protect plants rather than animals. It is indeed a rare botanical marvel, home to a full 350 species of vascular plants, and more than 40 varieties of terrestrial orchid. Karibu Tanzania
