Lakeland Africa will launch its first weekend tours on the 26th January 2013 by starting a two days tour to Mikumi National Park that will leave Dar es Salaam on 26th January and return in the evening on Sunday 27th this year.
Thereafter, the weekend trips will be scheduled on every Saturday and include more than six destinations.
Here are the weekend tour destinations: Mikumi National Park, Selous Game Reserve, Pangani, Kilwa, Saadan National Park, Lushoto and Bagamoyo.
The company uses overland trucks that can carry up to 24 tourists and it have experienced drivers, chefs and tour leaders.
All accommodations are by camping within the National Parks as well as within cities visited. Meals are prepared by chef on board.
