Seven rhino killed in North West Farm

Another seven rhinos are found poached on a South African farm.

With the situation in SA increasingly looking to be out of control, the rhino death toll for the year is already beyond 550 and fast heading for 600.

The answer must be better intelligence-led enforcement, directed at the international players behind the trade in rhino horn.

The answer is certainly not, as some factions in SA insist, a legalised trade in horn which will only feed the market, confuse consumers as to legality and further stimulate new demand - while making some individuals phenomenally wealthy in the process.
