Zanzibar’s Stone Town is an old part of the
city with stone buildings constructed in the 1830s. The oldest part of
town has mazy narrow alleys cars can’t drive through. The alleys have
shops, bazaars and mosques. The town’s architecture is of Arab, Persian,
European, Indian and African styles. It’s the birth place of Queen’s
Front Man Freddie Mercury.
