The Highview Hotel is located 140 km North-West of Arusha outside the town of Karatu, set between the Southern Highlands Forest Reserve of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and the surrounding coffee farms. This location is the ideal base for excursion trips to the Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park and Lake Eyasi Area. Longer trips include Tarangire, Serengeti National Park and the Lake Natron area.

The Highview Hotel is at high elevation above the town of Karatu and its surroundings. From the balustrade in front of the rooms, visitors can enjoy a spectacular view over the surrounding hills and the local agricultural countryside. The hotel, which opened in 2006, is modern, comfortable and offers all kinds of contemporary amenities.

Hotel rooms are located reposefully on top of a small hill - in a building separate from the building which has the reception, lounge and restaurant. This guarantees you a maximum of calmness and relaxation. 

However the distance between the two buildings is very short and it's an easy promenade through  beautiful gardens.
